Koinobori - Japanese Carp Streamers Koinobori اليابانيه -- الشبوط الشريط الملون

Today (May 5th) is Children’s Day in Japan, and that means today’s Word of the Day is 鯉幟 ( koinobori ). اليوم (ايار / مايو الخامس) هو يوم الطفل في اليابان ، ويعني ذلك أن كلمة اليوم من هذا اليوم هو鲤帜(koinobori). 鯉 (koi) means “carp” and 幟 (nobori) means something like “flag”, so 鯉幟 ( koinobori ) translates into English as “ carp streamer “.鲤(koi) يعنى "شبوط" و帜(nobori) يعني شيئا مثل "العلم" ، وذلك鲤帜(koinobori) يترجم الى اللغة الانجليزيه "كارب الشريط الملون".
Japanese families (who have boys) put these carp streamers up to celebrate boys. الأسر اليابانيه (من يكون الاولاد) وضع هذه الشبوط حتى الشريط الملون للاحتفال الاولاد. My wife and I had a son last year, so we got some. انا وزوجتي ولدا كان في العام الماضي ، حتى وصلنا بعض.
At the top of the pole are 矢車 ( yaguruma ). في الجزء العلوي من القطب هي矢车(yaguruma). 矢 means “arrow” and 車 means “car” or “wheel”.矢يعني "السهم" وسائل车"سيارة" او "العجله". If you look closely, you will see that the wheels are spoked with arrows, hence 矢車. اذا نظرتم عن كثب ، فستري ان العجلات هي مزود باسلاك مع الاسهم ، ومن ثم矢车. The fletching of the arrow-spokes catches the wind and makes the wheels turn. من الريش على السهم فإن السهم - المتحدث المصيد الريح ، ويجعل بدوره عجلات.
The koinobori are sold in sets of four. وقد koinobori تباع في مجموعات من اربعة. At the top is a plain old wind sock and beneath it are three carp windsocks. في أعلى هو سهل القديمة ريح الجورب وأسفل ومن هم ثلاثة الشبوط windsocks. The black carp is the father, the red is the mother and the blue one is the boy. الشبوط الاسود هو الأب ، والأم هي الأحمر والأزرق واحد هو الصبي. A koinobori set can cost anything from 10,000 yen (US$100) to 60,000 yen (US$600). أ koinobori مجموعة يمكن ان يكلف اي شيء من 10000 ين (100 دولار امريكى) الى 60000 ين (600 دولار من دولارات الولايات المتحدة). Ours was 40,000 yen and some change. وكان لنا 40.000 ين وبعض التغيير. Not cheap by any means, but you only have to buy them once, you use them year after year, and up close they are actually pretty freaking cool. ليست رخيصة بأي وسيلة من الوسائل ، ولكن لانك لا تملك الا مرة واحدة واعادة شرائها ، واستخدامها لكم عاما بعد عام ، عن كثب وانها في الحقيقة جميلة freaking بارد.
You hang your koinobori at the beginning of May, and then take them down on June 5th, one month after Children’s Day. لك تعليق koinobori الخاص بك في بداية ايار / مايو ، ثم اخذها في حزيران / يونيو الى اسفل الخامسة ، بعد شهر واحد يوم الطفل. Our koinobori are hung off of our balcony, and as you can see, the boy likes it! علقت لدينا هي من koinobori من الشرفه ، وكما ترون ، الصبي يحب!

I love seeing koinobori around Japan but had no idea that they cost so much! أنا أحب رؤية koinobori في جميع انحاء اليابان ولكن لم يكن فكرة ان تكلفه الكثير! When I lived in Hawaii as a child, we would make carp streamers out of construction paper and yarn for Children’s Day. عندما كنت اعيش في هاواي وهو طفل ، نود ان نقدم الشبوط الشريط الملون من اصل البناء والورق والغزل ليوم الطفل. It was interesting how many Japanese customs we studied in Hawaii, although now that I think about it a large number of my teachers there were Japanese. ومن المثير للاهتمام عدد اليابانيه الجمارك ودرسنا في هاواي ، على الرغم من الآن ان افكر في ان عددا كبيرا من المعلمين بلادي كانت هناك اليابانيه.

@Nick Ramsay: The first one we got actually cost about 200 yen at the supermarket :). @ نيك رامزي : اول واحد وصلنا فعلا من حيث التكلفه حوالى 200 ين فى سوبر ماركت :). But then the grandparents offered to get us a more special one. ولكن بعد ذلك عرضت الاجداد لنا للحصول على اكثر خاصة واحدة.

@thomas: Yes, it was for Japanese Children’s Day. @ توماس : نعم ، كان لاليابانيه يوم الطفل. It was not any official holiday in any sense, but something we did in school. اي انها ليست عطلة رسمية في اي معنى ، ولكنه شيء قمنا به في المدرسة. Hawaii was easily the most multi-cultural place I’d ever lived. هاواي بسهولة اكثر بين الثقافات المتعددة من اي وقت مضى كنت مكان يعيشون.
